Product Description
Prosonic FMU40 Ultrasonic Level Transmitter
Description
The Prosonic FMU40 Ultrasonic Level Meter Transmitter is suited for non-contact level measurement in fluids, pastes, coarse bulk material and flow measurement in open channels or at weirs. The two-wire or four-wire compact transmitter can be used in applications with storage tanks, agitators, on stockpiles and conveyor belts. The envelope curve can be shown on the on-site display for simple diagnosis. Linearization function (up to 32 points) for conversion of the measured value into any unit of length, volume or flow rate.
Advantages
1. Four-line plain text display, menu-guided on-site operation, fast and easy instrument commissioning, 7 languages available
2. On-site envelope display, complete simple instrument fault diagnosis
3. Provide FieldCare operating software, users can easily remotely operate the instrument, diagnose faults and compile measurement point files
4. Suitable for explosion-hazardous areas (gas-Ex, dust-Ex)
5. Linearization function (up to 32 points) can convert measured values into length, volume or flow in any unit
6. Built-in temperature sensor, automatically corrects the sound velocity affected by temperature
7. Optional remote display and operation (maximum installation distance from the transmitter can reach 20m (66ft))

| Applications | Pipeline pressure, tank level, flow differential pressure, hydraulic pressure and automation systems |
A pressure transmitter converts the pressure of liquid, gas or steam into a standard electrical signal for PLC, DCS, recorder or control instrument input. It is widely used for pipeline pressure, tank level, flow measurement and process safety monitoring.
Confirm the pressure range, pressure type, medium, temperature, output signal, accuracy, installation thread, electrical connection and environmental requirements. For corrosive media, high temperature or sanitary applications, diaphragm material and sealing structure are especially important.
Gauge pressure transmitters measure pressure relative to atmospheric pressure. Absolute pressure transmitters measure pressure relative to vacuum. Differential pressure transmitters measure the pressure difference between two points and are commonly used for flow, filter and level measurement.
Yes. Xinyi Instrument can support customized pressure ranges, process connections, output signals, cable length, display options and model selection for different industrial applications.
