Product Description
Prosonic FMU40 is suitable for non-contact level measurement of liquids, slurries, and solid blocks, as well as flow measurement of open channels or measuring weirs. Two wire or four wire integrated transmitters can be used for complex working conditions such as storage tanks, mixers, silos, and conveyors. The on-site envelope display can be used for simple instrument fault diagnosis. Linearization function (up to 32 points) can convert measurement values into any unit of length, volume, or flow rate.
Core Technology and Specifications
Measurement accuracy: ± 2 mm or ± 0.2% of the set range;
Maximum measurement distance: 5 meters for liquid media and 2 meters for solid media. Higher models in the same series (FMU41 to FMU44) can provide a larger range;
Process conditions: The process temperature range is -40 ° C to+80 ° C, and the process pressure (absolute) range is 0.7 to 3 bar abs;
Main liquid receiving components: PVDF material, with good chemical corrosion resistance;
Communication and power supply: Supports two-wire or four wire systems, integrated with HART protocol.
Simultaneously optional PROFIBUS PA or Foundation fieldbus (FF) communication;
Advantage
Four line pure text display, menu guided on-site operation, quick and simple instrument debugging, available in 7 languages;
On site envelope display, complete simple instrument fault diagnosis;
Provide FieldCare operation software, allowing users to easily remotely operate instruments, diagnose faults, and compile measurement point files;
Suitable for explosion hazardous areas (gas Ex, dust Ex);
The linearization function (up to 32 points) can convert measured values into lengths, volumes, or flow rates in any unit;
Built in temperature sensor, automatically corrects the speed of sound affected by temperature;
Optional remote display and operation (maximum installation distance from transmitter can reach 20m (66ft));

A pressure transmitter converts the pressure of liquid, gas or steam into a standard electrical signal for PLC, DCS, recorder or control instrument input. It is widely used for pipeline pressure, tank level, flow measurement and process safety monitoring.
Confirm the pressure range, pressure type, medium, temperature, output signal, accuracy, installation thread, electrical connection and environmental requirements. For corrosive media, high temperature or sanitary applications, diaphragm material and sealing structure are especially important.
Gauge pressure transmitters measure pressure relative to atmospheric pressure. Absolute pressure transmitters measure pressure relative to vacuum. Differential pressure transmitters measure the pressure difference between two points and are commonly used for flow, filter and level measurement.
Yes. Xinyi Instrument can support customized pressure ranges, process connections, output signals, cable length, display options and model selection for different industrial applications.
