Product description

The Yokogawa YTA110 is a rugged, field-mount  temperature transmitter  designed to convert sensor signals (thermocouples, RTDs, ohms, or DC mV) into a standard 2-wire 4–20 mA DC output for  reliable process transmission. Engineered for harsh industrial environments, it delivers long-term stability, flexible  communication, and compliance with key safety standards—ideal for temperature measurement in oil & gas, chemical,  power, and general industrial applications.

Core Features

  1. Universal Input Flexibility

    Supports thermocouples (E, J, K, N, T, R, S, B, WRe/W5), 2/3/4-wire RTDs (Pt100, JPt100, etc.), ohms, and DC mV      signals. User-selectable input types eliminate the need for multiple transmitters, simplifying inventory and      setup;

  2. High Precision & Long-Term Stability

    Delivers ±0.1% of calibrated span typical accuracy. For RTDs, stability is ±0.1% of reading or ±0.1°C per 2 years      (at 23±2°C); for thermocouples, ±0.1% of reading or ±0.1°C per year—ensuring consistent performance over extended      use;

  3. SIL2 Safety Certified

    TÜV NORD-certified to IEC 61508 for SIL2 compliance (single transmitter) and SIL3 (dual transmitter      configuration). Critical for safety instrumented systems (SIS) in high-risk industries, reducing safety-related      design complexity;

  4. Rugged Environmental Resistance

    Features a dual-compartment aluminum alloy housing (stainless steel optional) with IP66/IP67 protection and NEMA      4X rating. Hermetically sealed terminals resist moisture, dust, and chemicals—performing reliably in -40°C to 85°C      environments (with integral indicator: -30°C to 80°C);

  5. Digital Communication & Smart Configuration

    Supports BRAIN or HART® protocols, enabling remote parameter setup, calibration, and diagnostics via tools like      the BT200 or HART communicator. Digital communication reduces on-site visits and maintenance costs;

  6. Advanced Diagnostics & Self-Calibration

    Continuous self-diagnostics monitor for input loss, ambient temperature errors, EEPROM/cPU failures, and      more—storing up to 4 error logs. Automatic self-calibration compensates for drift, ensuring long-term accuracy      with minimal interventionweb-material3.yokogawa.com;

  7. Flexible Output & Failure Modes

    4–20 mA output with selectable sensor burnout (3.6 mA low/21.6 mA high) and configurable failure modes      (upscale/downscale). Damping time constant (0–99s) optimizes signal stability for noisy processes;

Pressure Transmitter FAQ

What is a pressure transmitter used for?

A pressure transmitter converts the pressure of liquid, gas or steam into a standard electrical signal for PLC, DCS, recorder or control instrument input. It is widely used for pipeline pressure, tank level, flow measurement and process safety monitoring.

How do I choose the right pressure transmitter?

Confirm the pressure range, pressure type, medium, temperature, output signal, accuracy, installation thread, electrical connection and environmental requirements. For corrosive media, high temperature or sanitary applications, diaphragm material and sealing structure are especially important.

What is the difference between gauge, absolute and differential pressure transmitters?

Gauge pressure transmitters measure pressure relative to atmospheric pressure. Absolute pressure transmitters measure pressure relative to vacuum. Differential pressure transmitters measure the pressure difference between two points and are commonly used for flow, filter and level measurement.

Can Xinyi Instrument provide customized pressure transmitters?

Yes. Xinyi Instrument can support customized pressure ranges, process connections, output signals, cable length, display options and model selection for different industrial applications.
