WIKA Model R‑1 is a compact, rugged pressure transmitter specifically engineered for HVAC, refrigeration, and heat  pump systems. Built with a monolithic all‑welded stainless steel design and dry thin‑film measuring cell, it  eliminates elastomer seals, delivering superior long‑term leak tightness and reliability.

The sensor has been tried and tested in the field for years and is extremely reliable. Up to 10 million load cycles  are no problem for the model R-1. The model R-1 has been designed

without elastomer seal, the high-accuracy measuring cell is welded directly to the process connection. All parts that  come into contact with the substances in the refrigerant circuit

are made of robust stainless steel with a high load capacity.

A pressure transmitter converts the pressure of liquid, gas or steam into a standard electrical signal for PLC, DCS, recorder or control instrument input. It is widely used for pipeline pressure, tank level, flow measurement and process safety monitoring.

How do I choose the right pressure transmitter?
