Core Measuring Principle
The FMX21 operates on the hydrostatic pressure principle. The sensor is submerged at the desired measurement depth, where the pressure exerted by the liquid column above it (P = ρgh) is detected by the high-purity ceramic diaphragm. This pressure is converted into an electrical signal, which is then conditioned, temperature-compensated, and output as a standard 4-20 mA analog signal or combined with HART digital communication.
