The E+H 5DBB Series Electromagnetic Flowmeter, a high-quality product launched by Endress+Hauser (E+H), a world-leading provider of industrial measurement and automation solutions, belongs to the Proline Promag D10 product family. This electromagnetic flowmeter is specially designed for precise flow measurement of conductive liquids in various industrial fields, combining advanced technology, stable performance and user-friendly design to meet the strict measurement requirements of modern industrial production.
In terms of core performance, the E+H 5DBB Series adopts advanced electromagnetic measurement technology, which ensures an excellent measurement accuracy of ±0.5% (optional ±0.3% high-precision version), effectively avoiding measurement errors caused by changes in fluid temperature, pressure and viscosity. The flow velocity range covers 0.05 m/s to 10 m/s, with a recommended working velocity of 0.5 m/s to 5 m/s, and the minimum detectable velocity is as low as 0.05 m/s, which can accurately measure both low and high flow rates. The flow measurement range varies with the nominal diameter (DN), ranging from 0.03 m³/h (DN15) to 282.74 m³/h (DN100), and the optional DN sizes (DN15, DN25, DN40, DN50, DN80, DN100) can fully meet the diverse flow measurement needs of different industrial pipelines.
In terms of structural design, the E+H 5DBB adopts a compact wafer-type structure, which is small in size, light in weight and easy to install. It can be directly mounted on the pipeline through flange connection without complex pipeline modification, greatly saving installation space and construction time. The product is equipped with corrosion-resistant lining materials (rubber, PTFE) and optional electrode materials (316L, Hastelloy, Titanium), which have strong corrosion resistance and can adapt to various harsh working media, including acidic, alkaline, corrosive chemical liquids, industrial water, wastewater and other conductive media (minimum conductivity ≥5 μS/cm).
In terms of functional configuration, the E+H 5DBB is equipped with multiple practical functions to enhance operational convenience and reliability. It supports multiple output signals, including 4-20mA analog output, pulse output, and optional HART, Modbus communication protocols, which can seamlessly connect with PLC, DCS and other industrial control systems to realize remote monitoring, data transmission and parameter adjustment. The built-in Heartbeat technology enables real-time self-diagnosis and condition monitoring of the flowmeter, timely reminding of potential faults and ensuring long-term stable operation. The local LCD digital display allows on-site viewing of flow data, and the operation is simple and intuitive.
